Installation

Install EasyZip step by step

  1. DownloadClick “Download EasyZip Offline” and save EasyZip_Offline_Package.zip.
  2. Extract the packageUse the Online Unzip tool above, or right-click the downloaded ZIP and choose Extract All.
  3. Start immediatelyDouble-click EasyZip.exe for the full app, or EasyZip_Upgraded.bat for the new Quick ZIP / Quick Unzip panel. Python and internet access are not required.
  4. Add right-click commandsDouble-click install_easyzip.bat. This installs EasyZip for your Windows account without administrator permission.
  5. Find it on Windows 11Right-click a folder or archive. If EasyZip is not shown immediately, select Show more options.
Windows security notice: Windows may show a SmartScreen warning for a newly distributed application that is not code-signed. Verify that the filename is EasyZip.exe and that you downloaded it from this official EasyPicker page. Do not bypass a warning for a file obtained elsewhere.

How to use

Common EasyZip tasks

Quick ZIP + password

  1. Open EasyZip_Upgraded.bat.
  2. Optionally type any password; EasyZip has no character/number complexity rule.
  3. Choose Quick ZIP File(s) or Quick ZIP Folder.
  4. The ZIP is created beside the original item using its name.
  5. Password ZIP uses AES-256 when a compatible 7-Zip installation is available.

Quick Unzip to same-name folder

  1. Open EasyZip_Upgraded.bat.
  2. Enter the password only if the ZIP is protected.
  3. Click Quick Unzip and select the ZIP.
  4. All files are extracted beside the ZIP into a folder with the same base name.

Extract only selected files

  1. Click Open Archive.
  2. Select one or more items in the archive list.
  3. Click Extract Selected.
  4. Choose the destination folder.

Use the Windows right-click menu

  1. Run install_easyzip.bat once.
  2. Right-click a folder and choose Compress to ZIP with EasyZip.
  3. Right-click an archive and choose Extract with EasyZip.
RAR and 7Z: EasyZip does not bundle WinRAR or 7-Zip. Install either compatible program separately if those formats are required. ZIP, TAR, GZ, BZ2 and XZ functions remain available without them.
